Hi.. Am quite a noob here. Was a regular at my neighborhood optician until I realized he kinda chopped me. So now I'm looking for other places to get new prescription glass.

Is owndays good? I live very near Bedok Mall, so I might get it from there. But I'm more concerned about variety and quality of frames/lenses.

Been searching online too... Glassesonline.sg and smartbuyglasses.com.sg are two websites I found. Prices seem very reasonable. Are they good? Anyone bought from them before? My major concern is if I purchase then require any after sales service (eg screws and stuff) then how sia

Had a relatively good experience at owndays [plaza sing branch]. $178 only; you start by selecting frame, then eye check. After that, wait about 30 minutes to get the glasses. The frame I chose, OT2025, is very light

Staff were quite helpful; no pressure to "upgrade" to super or ultra high index lens.

Personally, I think for glasses, fit is quite important. So better to try it at a physical store rather than buy online.

I've compared the price they quoted me with other shops and found it to be as good or cheaper than some of the shops ppl have recommended in this thread.

I don't know what the price range is for 1.67 hi index lens cause my power is quite low.

No harm going down to ask for their quotation right?
They are closed on Sunday btw.

It only works as good as full polarized lens
if u have no astigmatism
