I made the jump from oakley to tag heuer. Never regretted. Real quality stuff
Tag Heuer is nice, but very very expensive. (out of my reach)

hey xllms, i just got me a pair of ic berlin, got them from the eye place, seems like they're the only authorised dealer in sg..
i do blive tt their prices are slightly higher than usual, due largely to the fact tt they have a monopoly market in sg, but i've seen ic berlin frames in KL, paris miki, um specifically the one at KLCC and after conversion, it's slightly cheaper than sg, prob by bout 50 - 80..

just my 2cts, it's not often i hear people mention ic-berlin though..haha

mykita & ic-berlin are abt SGD500+ to SGD700+ ( i think )

as for j.f. rey...retail prices r around the same as mykita n ic-berlin (depending on model) or slightly lower, cant be too sure tho, but i have bargained b4 for a SGD500 retail price model to get it together with Transition lenses at ard SGD450

Puma frame - reasonable?

I was quoted $230 for Puma Speed 2 frame and $170 for 1.67 index plastic lens. Is this reasonable?

Durable frames

Which brands of spec frame have high resistance to color coating peeling off?

i've noticed the MC on my lens, when viewed at slanted angle against light, got spots. They cannot be washed nor wiped off...does tat mean the MC is "peeling"?

100 for 1.67? so cheap? I asked around and 1.67 for Kemin and AO lens costs 240 and above. I thought my lens from ILT (acquired by essilor recently) was cheap enough.

can you share which shop u get from?

Im going to JB to hunt for specs. Heard Hoya brand 1.67 only 280RM. I was quoted SGD$238 at paris miki.
Any branded/good specs shop to recommend there?
