There a lot of brand in the optical market, i will name some which i personally found more ppl are looking for.

Essilor, Carl Zeiss, Seiko, Tokai, etc....

Different type of lens brand have different technology eg: Lens Coating, Design etc. for their lenses. :look:

Essilor cheaper than Hi-Top is crazy lah. Hi-top very cheap one, less than hundred for a pair in certain shops.

And as what i know from visiting so many optical shops these 2 years, Seiko normally MORE ex than Nikon and every other brand leh......
how come this shop so funny one.

Questions about those frames with flexi soft material like Swiss Flex and Tag Heuer:

Is it lasting? I heard it breaks or get damaged easily within 1 year....

is it true?

Went to a few eyewear shop but was told that these type of material are durable...
Wonder if it marketing technique?

I'm looking for something ultra comfortable and also ultra light.... full frame or half frame....

Any other recommendation besides Swiss Flex, Tag Heuer and Staffan Preutz?
:)

Tks for the feedback on my lenses.

I have another important question that has been bugging me for sometime. I keep getting different opinions/feedback when I ask this question.

:s11::s11: May I know what is the best way to clean multi-coated lenses? :s11::s11:

Some people say to use soap to wash.
Some people say soap will kill the coatings.
Some people say just using a lens cloth to clean without soap will do.
Some people say use the lcd tv cleaning solution to clean the lens.
I am really confused.

Please advise.:):):):)
What particular cleaning liquid to use and what type of cloth.

for simple, best is to use the zeiss cleaning kit. haha simple and portable

If you want to use soap use diluted soap but still not really advisable.

Hey =) , dont use soap to wash your lens, your multi-coated lenses will get faded and peel off.

The best cheap way to wash is using water, if you really want to spend on something to buy.. there is a lens cleaner that most of the optical shop are selling at $5 plus, it's also reduce the fog.. :)

Tks again for all the feedback.

Is there a link to the zeiss cleaning kit that you recommended?

I wish to know what it contains or looks like. Sometimes the spec shop ppl just push something they trying to clear out.

$8 is quite fair. This is the standard market rate right?
