Definitely no. The transition price is about 500+ for 1.67 IIRC.
You can try other brand like essilor, it should be cheaper.

Anyone wore this before? Does the temple (the thin titanium portion) break or distort easily?

I am wearing the reflex 71xx, but the side (near the TH logo) does corrode.
So choosing between the TH spring, and other TH with the non-rubber temple.

I am wearing this currently, all black model. So far ok, but I'm a person who is quite careful with my specs.

Can I know if the thin portion is titanium? Is it flexible?
Are the screws loose too? (Which results in the lens shifting a little..)

Yes, the thin portion is titanium and flexible.
I just bought it 1 month ago.

Anyone knows where to hoot / make aviator sunglasses ? I've been looking for red lenses aviators for quite sometime already . Hooted those cheap ones from Amazon and BKK but they don't seem to last .

Looking for something like what Pitbull is wearing in this MV . Sadly , Rayban doesn't sell them .

An alternative would be get a Rayban aviator and change the lens to a red one. Of course then lens won't be from Rayban.

I got mine from spectacles hut. But i bought the sunglass version with prescription lenses. i opted for transition lens with the highest quality coating possible, so the price is on the high side.

I dont know much on the technology for spectacles, but its a choice if u want to spend for your eyes.

clear plastic lens from Crizal at SGD176 for eye degree at 700 each side with one side a slight agsthematism.

Well that is what the best the shop offers, there might be better ones internationally.

Super good deal, high chance that either frame is off 2nd quality or lenses are of lower range.

Hi all, I'm relocating overseas soon and need a new pair of specs(use my current pair as backup). Was wondering what brand I could get for about $200-$250. I want those nondescript, full metal frames(or frameless also can), that are pretty hardy.
maybe something like this:

My last two spectacles were bought at Thomson Plaza, both were by this brand "Police" and are pretty hardy (at least the first one was), the second one, the paint flaked off from the frame...sigh.

Wondering what brands I could get for that price range. I dont need fancy lenses, just the normal kind will do. Also, which shops would give me a good deal?
