The exact same spectacles frame and what specifically is this normal 1.67 lens? You go to 10 shops and ask about normal 1.67 lens price you will get 20 different answers.

Is normal polycarbonate lens as good as crizal or Hoya polycarbonate? I m using crizal now but I still getting smudges and water drops - the 5 enemies are not exactly eliminated.

So really worth to pay so much for branded lens?

Now thinking of matching ic Berlin frame with normAl polycarbonate lens at a full price below $500. Possible?

Juz want to share my experience bought this IC! berlin reionization as my last specs oakley evade spoil after playing with my 2year toddler son. He accidently bang into my specs and the screw thread of the frame become bigger until now i cant screw the lens to the frame btw this is not the first time it happen.... I send back repair once then recently it happen again but found out i lost my warranty card. haiz...

Then I happen to found this IC! berlin, Really like the design and build for this specs as this doesnt come with any screw. No more headache to worry about loose screw. And best no more worry when i am playing with my son as the build of the specs quite steady. It can almost bend 180degree into a flat specs without damaging the frame.

Best of all i bought this specs from a bro here, i did some research and i think he give quite a good price for it!!!

Thks Bro aldric!!!

Which shop in Singapore has the asian fit fast jacket/half jacket for me to try? And which shop can help me order original prescription oakley lenses? Would be great if there are such shops in the west...

how long does it take to get used to new prescription lenses arh?

I got an oakley too, sits much closer to my face, has a distinct curvature and a downward slope when viewed from the sides, not sure if the optician took these into account..

250+ astig considered serious?

got an aspheric lens, now see things still blur blur... how long to get used?

i oso hav high astig. my oakley frame is oso curved & i have no problem with the vision. But the frame slopes & sits on my cheeks no matter how i wear them.

U cannot say that the shop cheats you. Queensway shops sells cheaper than elsewhere because you can only pay with cash. NETS & VISA not accepted. sO THATS WHY they can give you huge discounts. Furthermore these shops are out of the way just like in those neighbourhood shops they sell you $180 for unbranded 1.67 lenses.

I second Seannie's post, and I find slowchemical's story unclear, so I feel we can't take his story, even at face value.

since ic berlin frame is branded, you can consider matching with branded lenses lest u feel psychologically imbalanced. =:p
ofcos sme say branded lens is better than unbranded, some say it makes no diff but actually it also depends on ur usage & requirements. if u handle ur tings roughly i think getting unbranded is wiser especially if u need to change ur specs often.
