any shop to recommend to get these frames? (would be nice if along the NEL line since I stay in Hougang)

ic-berlin frames do not meet your budget of $350.

Anyway my advice to you is that if you are particular abt the design & worksmanship aspect of a frame, ic-berlin has a design flaw. The hinges are not strong enough & can move abt & get loose. The arms also cant be folded in properly. You can go to the shop & try folding down the arms, they will rub against each other. Go try & you may understand wat im trying to say. Just hope you will not regret if you choose it.

Furthermore, over time there will also be frictional corrosion occuring on its steel metal sheets. Definitely not worth the price if you are someone looking at value & quality.

It seems the premium lenses only have SFT coating:
http://www.hoyalens.com.au/HLAstores/_images/Product Brochures/HOYA PRODUCT BOOKLET-FINAL.pdf
& not the conventional lenses.

Did anyone try the steel wool test with 4kg pressure? :s13::s13::s13::s13::s13:

the 4kg pressure test is just joking.

Seriuosly sft coating is v easy to tell just from its appearance & color, unlike normal kind of lens coating. Even nikon seemax coating has the same kind of cheap look as normal lens.

HOYA sft coating presents itself in a richer color tone. Even HVP coating color appearance doesnt have this kind of premium color look.

HOYA sft base color looks like green, but with an additional tint of yellow or dunnoe watever kind of color i just cant describe, it just looks damn diff. That is why its now my prime choice of lens.

U can try Nike or Adidas. For that price, Nike will suit better. More colourful than Oakley imo.

Nike just sucks. You can imagine their signature product (sports shoes) already dont last long, all made in thailand/philippines/indonesia/vietnam/china low quality but high price due to the branding. How can you recommend it?

Ya, i wont take it seriously.
I'm surprised they created a poster with is claim. Have not seen any HOYA sites with this claim:

Nike shoes getting suckier and suckier.

Frames are quite ok for the price.

Joints are quite sturdy and soldering jobs seems pretty decent. from the looks of it, it seems like they did a better job than on Police where both of them falls in similar price catergory.

Oakley frames now are ALL made in china. main thing is, standards dropped drasticly..

i owned 2 oakley frames, 4 oakley sunglasses.

Sunglass frame structure is quite ok. but lens quality is the main problem..

guys, intend to do transistion for my current spec. its a hugo boss spec.

was quoted 300 1.6 for crizal transistion. Hoya 1.6 at 380 is abit stretch for me.

any other brands within the same range, budget max at 320 as i have just spend abit on a new spec.

Yesterday ordered Silhouette frame and Nikon SeeMax 1.74 customize lenes.

Each of those lenses are customized build to best fit prescription, face and frame, attempt to achieve best possible optical performance and comfortability.

Somemore SeeMax are Multi Axes Bi-Asph lenes - one aspheric axis on the front surface and eight axes on the back surface - that is six extra aspheric axes, to make edge even thiner and overall flater lens.

They come with SeeCoat diamond coating too.

Build time 2 weeks, finger crossed hope they perform well:D
