All Carl Zeiss lenses comes with a laser engraved logo.
Depends on your astig angle, it may be partially or fully cut off.
U can ask your Optician for a sample of their logo(cuz i cant find online to show u) its like a Square with 2 diagonal lines forming like a Z shape.
Hi! Would like to seek some comments from the experts here on a set of eye test result.

Computed Snellen:
R: 6/06p
L: 6/7.5p
May I know what does the above result mean? Good?
TIA for replies.![]()
It just means how well u can see.
What's the cost ?
Thanks, warhunter. Is the result good/normal? TIA for replies.
Can't tell how healthy ur eye is based on just that. But it's seeing well.
Well, i think if u link it with workmanship cost?
Hoya major factory @ Thailand.
Zeiss have lots of factories across Europe.
if the quality is spoken for, then I see no reason to pay a large premium to have the product made by high labour costs angmos.
eg renaults made in turkey, chevy made in korea, apple made in CN etc keeps the costs down.
wonder if theres any "welcome to spectacles & lens guide" for newbs.
something like crash course to everything mentioned in this thread.
maybe coupled up with a rough price guide rounded to the fifties
I read the last 50 pg when I wanted to find out abt specs, lens, shops, recommendations, prices etc.
If you want a ez way or a short cut, then there are 2 links i posted below showing lens quality comparisons & AR coatings for different makes by Hoya & Shamir.
