If u don't like the rubber's pros and cons, get the titanium or plastic temples in your next purchase.

I would like to hear from people who shop online for frames from sites such as gmarket. How do you get your prescriptive lenses done? Do you bring your purchased frames to a local optometrist to get the lenses done? If so, can you kindly recommend a few?

Just nice my wife bought me frames recently - I went to Paris Miki, they can do the lenses for the "brought in" frames. Spent about 1/2 hour to check my degree and also measured the "centre" of my eyes with relation to the new frames.

yES, this marking is the alphabet H which represents the first alphabet of Hoya. You can also see very clearly from the colour of the coating is different from other brands. So no ordinary cheats are able to imitate hoya.

The marking cant be easily seen, and in some lens i suppose it is chopped off during the edging. Like mine, only one side have this mark the other side doesnt have, but in another pair of lenses, both sides have them. Usually should be at the top edge of the lens. Initially i thought it was some manufacturing defect but on closer thought & scrutiny i dont think cos the shape of the marking is so consistent & symmetrical.

Hi,

I wanna make a set of spectacles meant for playing snooker. My current degree is left eye 75 and 100 for right eye. As my nose bridge is rather small or short as they call it, whenever i bend down to cue, my current spectacle would always slide down below my eye level.

May I know whether its possible to make a set of spectacles with lens as big as aviator sizing and also those that would " kiap " tight but not too tight on my nose bridge? Brandless or not, doesn't really matter much to me. I have a budget of $100 - $150.

Possible to make a set of spectacles as mentioned with that current budget? Recommendations of where to make and pricing would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

imo get a friend to snap a few pictures of you in position before deciding. even big aviator glasses may not be the solution.
