It is only as offensive as you and Google take it to be.

Elsewhere and my intended message,
Anecdotal: Information based on personal observation rather than scientific research.

your intended message also not right.

my information on hoya not just based on personal observation, many opticians share my views as well. U can go and conduct a reseach and find out.

Considering what I work as, I probably know more who don't.
In fact I know shops who boycott Hoya. Small chains that boycott them actually. :s13:

is there a general price list for lenses anywhere online?

Just made a pair of specs recently, and was quote $200 for Crizal Transitions and $300 for Crizal airwear and $170 for a generic Transitions lens for -1.00 and astigmatism +250. And korea made Swissflex copy frames at $120.

Not sure if the price is worth it.
Don't recall their prices
But 3 years ago

Crizal trans $228 ~~~~

Air wear $180-$250

Generic transitions are hard to say, I knew shops selling below cost to hurt their neighbors

Not sure about the frames
Based on the prices can only say you're not getting carrot headed

How you manage to broke it? Since its bendable. Somemore i heard from the shop that i make my specs that it comes with warranty.

Worn mine for 4 years. They do last, but it depends on what kind of user you are
If it's the older model (swissflex fly ) they tend to break.

1.6 stay in the north. Shop must sell tag heuer

Why? Just curious.

And what's the frame model and price of the frame you're looking at?

Plus lens and a total price.
Give me target to work towards.
I don't do tag heuers but if prices isn't that bad I believe things can always be worked out

Today a shop quoted me $160 for Hoya, $170 for crizal and $240 for Nikon, all 1.6
Good or bad prices?

Sounds close to retail price.
Hoya have lenses around $160 for 1.6
Nikon should be $248
Crizal was around there

Normal prices. Close to retail. Not carrot head prices of that's what you're asking
