I just use the cheap and faster way.
$8 USD - Chestermox domestic ship to Daigou USA warehouse.
$4 SGD per 500g block - Daigou US warehouse air ship (5-7 days) to Singapore.

No way I'm paying $38-49 USD to direct ship international quoted by Chestermox. Ridiculous pricing.

Can't compare forwarder to what retailers do for shipping. They generally mark up from shipping even though for such leather goods, it shouldn't be this expensive. Faler shipped mine via FedEx priority without any additional charges. But it could be due to my wallet being already pricey, he did throw in an extra card holder for free too.

Upgrade and get your wallet from people who make leather goods. Not fashion houses that make wallets.

Obbi goid label in SG is a good starting point.

Do you guys know of any leather product maker (overseas or local) that does a minimalist 6cc wallet? Specifically where the card placements are 3 vertical on both left and right, and 2 bill slots.

How are their cordovan wallets vs Chester Mox?

If i'm not wrong, there's only 2 places producing Shell Cordovan.

Horween from the states & Shinki in Japan. There's always a debate on whose is better... it's like comparing pepsi to coke.

Horween's products are usually stamped with their name

Then again, there could be more tannery producing Shell Cordovan especially those china tannery.

U just need to find out which tannery the artisan source their leather from.

And no matter which artisan you are buying from,as long as you know which tanneries their leather is from, the only other thing that matter is their workmanship, type of thread used , price etc

There are more than 2 tanneries producing shells.

In addition to Horween (US) & Shinki (Japan), there are also Clayton (England) & Rocardo (Italty).
