teentitan ah, stop recommending without links to get them (2254.50)

u recommend out of production and say like it can really fly but how to find?

u must provide sources what. hahaha

its not like eh buy rolex, available instore. hahaha

not that I don't want. any links are googled anyway. also must be careful to add disclaimer that THEY ARE NOT ENDORSEMENTS in any way or form.

anyway, I did put one up above. :D

I keep recommending it cos I sincerely feel that the omega 2254.50 is a real value for money handsome watch with charisma that ticks all the boxes that the rolex sub does.

For those targeting BB and Sub, may want to have a look at the MM300 also. Value for money Japanese goodness :D

since the mm300 essentially houses a undecorated grand Seiko movement, thong sia will have to send back to japan for any servicing, right?

i hope someone appreciate the ghost bezel that i did. haha still think it's a solid watch at below 700 with ETA movement, sapphire crystal and faux patina.

the OVM 1 is the most sought after OVM.

No extra line below the steinhart logo.
follows the 200m liner as the 5517 (however the watch is rated at 300m)
short production time which led to OVM MK2.
Black Dial vs Grey Dial (Black is OG)

please explain, thanks! :D

oh thanks! ...found your explanation:

faded the bezel using bleach

Hello! I have questions for people who buy straps from cheapestnato/people who change watch straps

1. I see onsite there's free shipping above $25, is it applicable to us?
2. When using NATO straps, aren't the spring bars thereby exposed and could be easily oxidised(rust) or be dirty/fall off?
3. Any other recommendations for purchasing straps?

Thanks! :)

I choose to buy watch strap from Time Zone Watch Trading shop at 101 Killiney Road because I can see and feel the items in person. I recommend you bring your watch along too. The boss has very good suggestions for watch straps in his shop to pair with your watch. So you can see if you like your watch pair with your new watch strap.

Hmm, that's true - cause I wanna get a replacement strap for an adidas santiago watch. What do you think?

I think a new matching watch strap (whether nato or leather) would give your adidas santiago watch a new look you will fall in love, tictactor.

Do give Mr Ricky Hoo a call before you go down to his shop.

I'm not sure but I think so.
Even my Orient OS300 needs to be sent back to Japan for time regulating. Just sent in my OS300, wonder when I will get it back.

If the strap width fits the lugs of your watch, I dont see why not? :)

i was lucky I got mine while window shopping in chinatown.

you can try this link I googled (disclaimer: THIS IS NOT AN ENDORSEMENT as I have never dealt with the poster) http://swx.com.sg/forum/trading-pits/singapore-trading-pit/607525-fs-omega-seamaster-2254-50

Did a bit of Googling and found that link too. Thanks. Now to set aside some finances..

Haha ownself zhng the bezel lor.
To have the faded bezel look aka ghost bezel.
Only good for stainless steel.
Some ghost bezel ppl selling 1-2k. Haha. If too uniform could be done the artificial way.

Fun fact - patina Is cause by darkness, not sunlight.
So ppl who kept their tritium watches in the dark will have nice patina.
Correct me if I am wrong
