I dun think so. Think lowest is 4600. Got mine at 4880 without bargaining at carousell. $4000 is a lot of watch for that price. Worth it

Ever since Steinhart started producing ST.5 movements and St.1 movements, nowadays they rarely have OOS situations.

In terms of where will we find St.5 and St.1 movements in Steinhart watches...

ST.1 movements should be used more extensively in their Pilot/Flieger watches which feature elegant sandwich dials and clear casebacks. We may even see Steinhart using ST.1 in future ultraslim watches, because it does not have a Rotor

ST.5 movements would be used more extensively in their Ocean series

Thanks, seems adequate. Maybe I should take my own advice and try on all of them in person. I really love the heck-care look of the Monster but those huge teeth swallowing up part of the minute indices makes me pause.

Probably due to the fact that t1 and st5 are modelled after eta movements. But not sure why they are not adopting St1 and st5 for description... maybe they still have some old steinhart watches on eta 2824-2 movts

But It's known that St1 is a highly modified eta 6479 movt and iirc it's stated in Steinhart website as well.

As for st5, the entire movt, in terms of specs, is far too similar to eta 2824-2
They both have 28,800BPH and 25 jewels, hack, have a quickset date function and are 11 1/2'' in diameter. It appears to be very similar from what I have seen in regards to shape too, the only discernible difference is the finishing and decorations.

Need to go back to millenia walk again tmr...realised my bezel is too loose (visible gap) and makes a clicking sound whenever i tap on it...

Dunno when will get reunited w the ovm...

so that movement is bought in than mod or can say its in house but clone in house ?
