Returning to SG on August 2nd week. Can get better prices as compared to local AD.

E.g submariner no date $10,030. Believe submariner local AD or no discount or very little + waiting list. Can get 5-8% discount, maybe a little more. PM if interested

i think long time ago this was a topic here...many pros and cons...

one con is of course, cannot check date

one pro is, overall it gives the watch more symmetry....
also, one less part to breakdown...

anyway, personally it doesn't bother me...
i normally check my calendar at the start of the day, and the date & activities will be stuck in my head for the rest of the day liao habit le..

I think it's fine. Actually check date is once a day for me. Will usually remneber after first check. So take out phone once settle Liao.

I strongly encourage you to think and make it your target... I actually brought my wife along to HJ watch shop and tried on the ALS lange 1 in front of her...
she replied "Nice... how much?"
I told her "26k"
to my surprise, she replied that I can put it back and get this watch 10 years later as my "40th birthday watch"

It's more than just buying the watch though.. Not cheap to service Lange. And doubt many people will trust third party to do. I recall the servicing costs can buy quite a few Steinharts..

skywatches need to check prices in USD or SGD .. go down buy add 7% GST. can bargain (as the staff told me to offer them a price before )

sometimes go lazada ssrr oso good .. use discount voucher. I got my sumo there for less than $500
