It's easier to scratch, but less likely to shatter..

By roc I assume rsc. I believe is no.

If you keep thinking about this watch everyday/ at night then the hoot it, if you see other watch that attracts you more than this one than ignore this watch.

I believe this is a 1969 Cal 861 Speedy according to my step dad who scored this from ebay. Changed the caseback to a open one and the bezel too (Kept original parts).

Where did you change the bezel? Omega or ?

so means they are switching to ETA6497, which is based on the ETA2824 which is well-received by watch people?

Steinhart usually uses ETA.

直到目前為止, STEINHART採用的機芯出自兩廠, ETA與SOPROD.
多數的計時錶款都是採用7750自動機芯. 賽車主題, 與 飛行員主題, 還有APPOLON全數採用7750自動機芯. 航海主題的計時機芯採用的是2824+DD2040雙模組合. 7753通常只有在年度限量發行錶款才會見到.

任何主題錶款, 只要掛上PREMIUM字樣, 就會有機會用到SOPROD機芯. 之前的O2 Premium因為價格高, 又不是採用SOPROD A10機芯, 所以才會引起爭議.

望眼一看, 幾乎整個海洋系列潛水錶都是採用2824, 不過等級有別. 唯有OT500與OOV GMT採用SOPROD而已.

it doesn't say "Rolex"

(伯斯市場很有趣, 石英錶市場需求比機械錶需求還要大. 十間錶鋪裡就有6家賣的高級品牌就有浪琴,戴好嘢... 多數石英錶款)

錶鋪老闆(不像員工... 比較像揸Fit人)起初用英語問到是否能夠幫到什麼...我就"哦...請問",用華語回應.
錶鋪老闆一聽我用華語,就開始用華語問是否能幫到哪裡... 我一聽他的華語,就馬上猜到他可能是廣東/香港人.
我: "噢... 唔好意思,借問你依個車站掛鐘牌子有無自動款呀?"
他: "噢... 無喔. 或者你可以睇睇下其他牌子有無?"
我笑笑... "OK, 我就睇下先~"
這時我拉上寒衣的袖子看看我的Appolon,錶鋪老闆一見就說"大哥你哩隻錶幾正喔... 中國錶黎架? 無見過哩個牌子嘅? 用麼機芯呀?"
我笑笑... "我手上依隻? 平野黎架... 計時錶,德國牌子,瑞士芯."
老闆眼睛展現那種... 質疑的眼神,"係迷真架~?"
我笑笑... "唔緊要,可以俾你睇下..."我就將錶拿下給他看.
老闆先看錶盤,再看機芯..."做工幾正喔...上海芯呀?"
我笑笑... "唔知喔... 或者你可以睇睇下擺輪果度有無印記?"
老闆用那修錶師常用的放大鏡,加上燈光一照..."ETA? 係迷真架... 大哥你用幾錢買入呀?"
我笑笑...假裝計算,"果陣時買好平...大約1333澳幣呱... 如果你有興趣(我就將Steinhart Appolon 一錶三玩這幾個字寫下,交給他),今晚收鋪休息後估狗下啦."
