You can fit a leather on a bracelet version, but vice versa is not true. Hence it's a little more versatile.

Yup.. haven't seen it in any physical shops in this part of the world. Local Bulova AD is v small scale, dun think they will stock this anytime soon.

Either get friends to buy from US or from the usual eBay / Amazon...

There is a new sarx033 on seiya Japan. Looks damn nice, read reviews saying its upgraded version of sarb series. Only problem is don't see any shop in Singapore that carries it. Want to see it in real life first before hooting

Yup good idea. Btw anyone have any opinions on the sarb line from seiko? What's it comparable to in terms of quality compared to the Swiss? I've been poisoned by the sarb035 deeply

good choice. nicknamed the baby GS for its close resemblance to the GS. of course GS wins hands down in terms of quality. but for its price of <$500 - quite value for money! just don't expect COSC accuracy from its 6r15 movement.

ps: now i always ask myself - would that watch be an impulse buy leading to loss of interest or money when sold off in the long run, or is it a keeper with long term value retention. but that's just me...

yup. modern classic & very collectible. most WIS/watch nerds agree & are crazy about this watch. if you see one reasonably priced - just grab. won't lose value and will only gain in the long term.

I always think that buying a watch (watch collection) is want and not a need. It's a hobby where you use your spare cash (not reserves). It should not be used as an investment (at least not most pieces can appreciate in value). Value retention is a plus. Just allocate a certain percentage of your income and stick to it.
