I actually can't see any LEC on my 114060. Could fellow owners confirm, have or don't have on 114060?
all rolex model have.

even my old 16610 also have.

when they started it, not sure also

its very faint for legit rolex, fake one quite obvious.

Sadly accurate watch for Tues

HtBFU9h.jpg

Needs no intro, 9F movement, good enough to show in a see thru caseback
outstanding accuracy, twin pulse control, super sealed cabin, and iirc a 50yr lubrication & parts change.... this watch will outlive me :s13:
Look no further for a HEQ watch.

For GS quartz fans who likes bigger sized watches, there are 3 new models that is 40mm

what's your opinion on the citizen chronomaster, please? the sold out blue dial was quite handsome.

claimed to be the most accurate quartz in the world...
Finishing not as good as GS, but features wise slightly better.
Citizen looks to be slightly more expensive tho.

I thought GS is more ex than the citizen chronomaster?

granted GS has more designs. currently available chronomaster boring - black or white dial only... iirc

LEC crown was introduced in Year 2001.
Only rolex watches made after that will have. Therefore for old genuine rolex watches produced during Year 2001, they may not have the LEC crown

Of course when LEC first came out, it was extremely difficult to replica as it is visible only at a certain angle, as shown in Donten picture.

But it has been 15/16 years since LEC was introduced, as pointed out by Nakedtoes, nowadays companies with vast resources are capable to mimic the LEC close to the Real thing. That's why there are expensive fakes and cheap fakes

In fact, if it wasnt ed.yeo who started to point out slight differenves in both rolex, I wouldnt have did the research on Counterfeit measures implemented by Rolex...

And learnt about LEC... ^.^

After my failed attempt to take a macro shot of the LEC....ended up with this shot.

Maybe if you look back at previously captured photos of your rolex... you might already have captured it in orgasmic style lolx =P

any watch would look good with your eye for a shot !;)

Fully agree on this haha! ln fact I miss his water splashing shot... it's pretty... wet
=p

I totally cannot see it with my naked eyes...then I checked my wife's 31mm DJ...even worst, took a long time to see it.

The LEC is easier to spot on a rolex with a dark coloured dial... rolexes with light coloured dials are extremely difficult to see, cuz the LEC crown is colourless =...(

Just a suggestion.

We find a day, and Cichlid helps us take nice photos of our watches. We pay a sum and this goes to charity. Of course it may be inconvenient to Cichlid so I think it's also fair for him to charge a fee to cover his transport or whatever.
I'd love for him to take pics of my watches.

any takers?

Very nice photos cichlid.

Wanted to ask - what is the cause of an automatic watch second hand getting stuck at the same position? When shake a bit, or pull out the crown and put back, it will move. Power reserve almost fully charged. :s11:

One of the gear tooth could have dirt/rust on it and fail to engage the other gears, resulting the issue to always occur at the same area at each cycle.
