I was happy when he bought his BBN ... that this thread will go back to the good old days.

But he really suay siah (unless he is fooling all us now) ... every watch goes to him all got problem ... and now this thread got lagi more ~!@#

If it's 5 mins per day, it is rather unacceptable. My $100 Seiko doesn't even deviate 5 mins in a week.

But now, he faces a dilemma. Sending the watch in will put it a very likely situation where scratches, dust...etc will be introduced to the watch. Not sending it in means he will have to live with a watch that keeps time poorly.

Ya 5 mins fast per day sounds like a lemon to me. From what i read in other watch forums. The BB is supposed to be regulated very well and runs mostly within COSC standard.

I don't know how he is measuring but if really true then very suay lor. I think can run through a demagnetizer first and if that doesn't help, then bobian have to adjust. 5 min is unacceptable regardless of what people seem to be saying that you don't get mechanical wristwatches for accuracy blah blah. It is definitely unusual.

Anyway, did I miss anything huh? Why so many ****ing trolls around all of a sudden

Thx for the link, this is when last time and also didn't mention it is supply to the brand own by swatch group or. all we know swatch group already trying to stop supply movement to other watch brand, and micro brand if they want cosc still have to send the watch to get the cosc cert.

Stowa it is not direct buy cosc movement with cert from swatch group, they just buy base and top grand movement from them, last time we still can purchase stowa option cosc grade with cert, but now like no more. No matter it is cosc grade or not, after assembly still need to send for the cosc cert.

And the cosc watch, after send service also become non-cosc already, becoz after service they won't send your watch to the test. Except Rolex or some top luxury brand

And funny thing is, if the cosc stand for the accuracy, why zenith JLC pp no have the cosc cert?
ps: if the watch dial got mark chronometer must have cosc cert.

rem the seiko white mini monster I gave to my intern? it's still fogging.

。。。Problem is, the watch keeps having water vapour going in and everyday the crystal will fog up.

Will lao goh be able to fix this? I think it's quite a vintage model.

我们先来了解为什么会起雾气。最简单的，就是錶进水了嘛~~
那么錶为什么又会进水咧？基本上有两个常见的戴錶者通病，疏忽与无知。

有些錶标明不能入水，但是戴錶者却又跃跃一试。。。
幸运的，錶家的产品防水做得好，不怕你乱搞。不幸运的，无奈，錶是被冲被灌但是没浸入水盆，还是会入水。因为戴錶者的无知，忘了腕上手錶的防水限制。。。入水，就会起雾气了。

至于疏忽，有时是人为的。。。纯粹是一时失误，忘了锁进錶冠，就有机会让大量的水灌入，滞留在机芯里，不只伤了机芯，也坏了錶盘。
另一种疏忽，就有如我以上的山度士，用了多年，忘记手錶的防水功能会因岁月流逝而慢慢减弱。。。多数原因集中在锁冠的螺丝袖上。
锁冠，松冠，转出转进的，日子久了，螺丝纹也会慢慢变薄的，甚至光秃，到时錶冠就不能再锁了。
另一个比较常见的，就是螺丝袖的腐蚀与裂痕。我的山度士就是这种情形。锁，还是可以锁。但是就不能防止水的侵入。

这也就为什么我开头的时候提到几率了。老吴那里有螺丝袖可以换，但是必须要能与你的錶冠尺寸吻合，这样“合”的几率是比较少的。。。
我建议，借此机会将錶送去给老吴洗油，修理。如果錶冠的防水胶圈可以换新的，就换。新一代的胶圈品质比较好，可以耐上一阵子。
如果你那只錶可以洗油，还可以整修，就算换了胶圈防水差，以后细心戴就是了。。。毕竟这是长辈留下的纪念。。。

both are nice. What i would further consider is your current watch profile, how many darker dials you have versus white / silver dials. This will add some variety to your collection. If not, just go for your favourite color. Both are very good choices.

Confirmed white nicer to me! The black one too all lu lu liao, cannot see the details on the dial as clearly.

Rolex don't send it back for testing iirc
Stowa - their stock changes who knows if they buy directly or they get from else where. Don't work in the industry have to dig on WUS to get quality

I think for you is no patek no talk. But I think you buy patek, lose 1 sec a day you will still go patek bang table. Trololol
