Beg to differ, but i hardly see any of their advert... i got to know ball only after i saw a pair of them n bought them.

While I know some balls are defaulted in pairs by nature... Interesting that you bought a pair of ball watches at one go (and apparently at the 1st instance of acquaintance).. couple watches?

To be fair access to GS isn't as 'easy' as mainstream luxury brands. For the same budget, regular folks would probably prefer to go for a Swiss than Japanese brand - also applies to many enthusiasts with the budget for multiple luxury watches; most progress from a Swiss watch to GS than vice versa.

In fact, the GS appeal is to a large extent precisely because it doesn't appeal to regular folks and speaks of a (desirable) image of having a higher level of appreciation for watches than the common man when being recognized for wearing/owning a GS.

的確是有分的。也比較容易辨認。
除了港版，坡版之外，較為少見的還有西班牙版，還有瑞士版。

港版坡版在錶盤上的商標有別，港版多數為盾牌，坡版的遠遠看有如一隻米蟲，近看很歐式“武士騎馬+S盾牌”。瑞士版的比較清楚，錶盤6點處清楚印上“SWISS MADE”字樣，坡版只有SWISS。

底蓋方面，港版，坡版，瑞士版就全部統一。

西班牙版的錶款多數為石英錶款比較多。。。目前我只在福南中心一樓錶鋪見過，標誌比較不同。

機芯方面採用的都是ETA機芯。唯一區別在於亞洲ETA組裝芯，還是瑞士ETA組裝芯。

港版，坡版都是採用亞洲“金芯”，瑞士版的是比較普通“鋼色”Nickel芯。

我不能笃定本地市场没有港版山度士錶，但，绝大多数肯定是出自本地公司，还有少数的西班牙山度士产品，也有真正瑞士公司产品（见图，右）。

I heard some not-so-good reviews about thong sia aftersales service. Are they generally true? They would still have to send the GS to japan for servicing, no?

Oh... collected back tudor on monday already service quite fast. The service centre got it regulated so now seems to be ok so far so good.

If I not wrong, all GS will be sent back to Japan for servicing. Thong Sia won't do it in SG.
