1) What is the reasonable price range for Quartz watch?

2) Any warranty issue if buy online or non-authorised shops?

Quartz runs the whole gamut from pasar malam watch to DW to swatch to GS, anything from $20-2000 above esp for the higher end brands.

some quartz based ladies watches from jewelers like cartier, bvlgari, van clef & arpels, chopard, etc charge way, way more - but cos they're bejeweled gold watches, though...

No woh, after i bought tudor, i have even less urge for rolex liao. For me, i think its just perfect value cheap and good. Only regret is that only 30+ hours of power reserve. Not enuff for me whom i wear daily on weekdays and seldom wear on weekends. Usually the power reserve will run dry by sunday. So every monday of the week i have to rewind and im afraid often winding might spoil it over long run. This monday morning i was in rush to work and forgot to screw back after adjusting. Only realized it when im back home. Hopefully water hadnt gone in.

wah lucky i lun seh (it helps to have my omega 2254.50 as powerful antidote to most watch poison). learnt it the hard way from my hasty plunge during the srp639k craze - bought it at its peak - now can get it brand new for less! moral of the story: no matter how hot the watch (except for LE), wait a year later, if you still like it, can get it for less!

Im not a troll okie. Im serious to get the best valued watch but somebody dont take me seriously. Lucky to have bought one of the best and still keeping good time. Didnt realise the sweeping motion of the seconds hand is such a beauty. I mean compared to those that ticks. And the swee rose gold hour and minute hands. Under $4k. Dont lose to a rolex submariner.

I think the new Seiko PADI kinetic tuna is another non-mechanical watch that deserve WIS attention. The dial and hour markers are just stunning!
