Same, I set everytime I switch. The reverse day on Valjoux 7750 always throws me off though.I've always felt that winders are only necessary if you have very complicated watches that are very tedious or difficult to set.
I like to "connect" with my watches. Setting the watch is one of the ways, so doing it on a daily basis is not an issue for me. Anyway, It should take less than 2 minutes to set it. YMMV.
As for wear and tear, I personally believe that putting a watch on a winder everyday would lead to faster wear and tear, unless you wear the same watch everyday (then no difference).

i'm just fortunate to discover & own an honest, affordable, cult collectible classic with design and features I like all in a watch! it really helps me resist most watch poison and the rolex aspirational watch that plagues most people - which is a real blessing too, given my very limited funds.

being oop means the omega 2254.50 is even more exclusive than the rolex sub - a watch unfortunately plagued by fakes and homages (no offense to rolex bros here cos it's a very good watch with an excellent movement - just overpriced for the value it represent - although it holds its value really well!)
