  1. unscrew crown
  2. turn time to 2210 - clockwise
  3. turn time to 0915 - anticlockwise
  4. turn time to 2115- clockwise
  5. turn time to 1010 - anti clock wise
  6. screw down crown
  7. unscrew crown again
  8. shake 3 times in left to right motion
  9. then shake 3 times in updown motion

then you'll hear a "ting"

1 "ting" ish 1 hour, total number of "ting" is total number of hours left in reserve

Kidding :o

Usually only watches with power reserve indicator can tell you how much power is left. example - this watch

If you'll doubtful of your watch power holding capability, google on how many turns of the crown is needed to fully wind your watch, wind it, set the time to a fixed whole hour and let it sit on your desk. check the time again when the watch come to a complete stop
.

haha up your points for your efforts in typing those step by step sia ~ :s13:

How to check the energy level?

seriously your endless questions gave me an idea...

what if, i could create a website...
one whereby, you simply have to key in your questions, and my website will retrieve keywords and return you the most relevant websites that can answer your questions..

even better still, besides websites, it can return you images!!!

EUREKA!!!! even better! if you google for say, "K2 watch shop", it will provide you a MAP OF THE AREA!!!! together with step-by-step instructions on how to reach that location!!!!

gosh, im gonna be e next elon musk liao...

a bro already answered your question. also, you can google a lot of stuff that you dont know. is it that difficult?

he is one of those who needs to be spoondfed...

he will post a question, and come in few days later..if the first page doesnt have the answer he wants, he wont go to second page..

he'll just post again, until he comes in and just nice his answer is on first page...

seriously dude, as i said previously, some questions is easier to ask here, i agree...
but some basic ones, its easier to just google them yourself...

I really like jlc. Unfortunately, I think the designs look too refined for daily use. Feel wasted to have it left frequently in watch box.:(

Love your answer...

Decided to spoon feed him...

Basically some watches comes with a power reserve indicator (fuel gauge) that tells you how much fuel is left. Depending on the fuel tank (full tank is 72 hours for the watch below), you can estimate the amount of fuel left.

For those without power reserve indicator, you might have to time your watch (mentioned by Crexzz) and check against the user manual to see if it matches.

Here's my WOTD, taken this morning. School term starts, start of my part time driver job...

2 schools of thoughts.

How often do you wear them?
Once a month (off winders)
Twice a week (on winders)

Perpetual Calendars (on winders)

Above is my personal opinion.

Hi guys, newbie here much to learn from you guys.

As a first time buyer of luxury watches, i am currently looking at Omega/Rolex watches. Have a budget of $5k - 6k what would you guys recommend?

Also what shop do you guys usually go to, to get your watches?

Thanks!
