Saw the new in-house Black Bays at the Allwatches outlet at Bugis Junction. Not really feeling it. The rose logo is the one to go.

to be fair, their 70 hr power reserve of their in-house movement is a huge improvement over the anemic 38 hr power reserve of the eta 2824-2 (no offense to your 1st gen pelagos). servicing will of course be limited to tudor, unlike eta movements, though.

I agree. If they make a Black Bay with the in-house movement featuring the dial of the ETA version, while making the lug-to-lug shorter, it will be near perfect.

Just wondering, Citizen watches are not so popular here?

I know they have started to focus on Eco-Drive in recent years which is just not as alluring if you're into that smooth sweep second hand..

I own the citizen automatic diver ny2300 w/ the blue dial, bronze printing and pepsi bezel with the older miyota 8200 movement. no so popular maybe, but damn value for money and more exclusive and rarer.

citizen's automatic miyota 9015 movement is pretty ok. 28,800vph. used in a few boutique micro-brands.

Given both the Omega Seamaster and the Tudor Heritage Black Bay , both cost S$5k++ before discount , which is more values for money...not talking about re-sales values.

ok what... date window with date wheel the same shade of colour as dial, and nestled b/w hour markers, is a design consideration to preserve dial symmetry while allowing date to be displayed discreetly!

using value for money as a measurement, i believe general crowd would say omega since its more well known than tudor. but i feel that tudor has the better movement which is value for money to me.
