Haha be personally I prefer Daytona esp the current Daytona C but ridiculous pricing!

I'd go for the speedmaster SMP or the LE Ck 2998. More affordable...

Daytona C is grail level...

yes, bro indigo22, the feeling of a white dial sports watch is just... different.

at times when i'm admiring my white dial seamaster GMT, i picture myself decked out in all white casual cotton/linen, shod in deck shoes, wearing a pair of atas shades, lounging / striding along on the deck of my ocean-going private yacht, heading into the wind, with the smell of the invigorating ocean breeze and sipping a glass of refreshing lemon, lime & bitters! adjusting my GMT watch as my yacht crosses each time zone to bali, to phuket, to tioman, to the philippine islands and to all those nice diving spots with crystal clear waters around the region... and beyond*!

ah! this is the life! the haves, and the have yachts.

well it could happen! never say never!

*accompanied by choice babes like that sexy russian/ukrainian who's a dead ringer for olga kurylenko, that knockout blonde, blue-eyed and curvaceous nordic goddess, that sweet, sexy, milk for complexion japanese babe, lin chi-ling, vivian chow wai mun, etc etc... either on rotation or tarma!

When you weigh in the price, heritage, reliability, looks (subjective) and movement, I don't think any other watch comes close.

yup. we all have our favourites. they may even evolve over time.

Got to admit, between the Speedmaster and Daytona, I would choose the Speedmaster. Something about them just feels so utilitarian and looks low-profile.

If I ever add a white dial chronograph to my collection, it would have to be the Omega Speedmaster Alaska Project.

And I ended using getting the Seiko Cocktail time from Carousell.. dealing tonight

seiko's sarb065 cocktail time is a popular watch that features the mesmerising blue textured sunburst dial, part of seiko's mid-range presage line and has the respectable hackable & winddable 6r15 movement.

it's size at 40mm & thickness of 13mm is huge for a dress watch. but it should appeal to you since you're into large panerais.

the strap is rather stiff when new, but it has a deployant clasp, which should minimize the risk of the watch accidentally dropping like those tang/buckle straps.

ps. i still wish seiko kept the high-beat, hackable & windable 4s15 movement!

you must really love your jdm seiko! mind posting a few pics?

however, yours is probably the super premium method. courier by air, personally escorted by owner!

there should be more affordable options to send in a jdm back to japan for servicing right?
