mines just a normal wolf winder and i googled the settings for my watch before putting it on .. it was just what i was told at the svc center when i sent my watch in. Could have been just one of the more troublesome coaxial movements before omega finally got it right ...

You can head down to the shop to have a look, I think they have most of the Kiel James Patrick range of bracelets. My SD already collected some fine scratches (in only my first week of daily wear no less :() on the polished sides of the case, so I thought what the heck. Well, another option would be to probably wear the bracelet on your other hand.

Thanks for the reply. Currently looking for a diver and is interested in Squale's 30 ATMOS GMT Ceramic. However the thoughts of friend may see me as a rolex wanna-be is stopping me. Have interest in to 50 ATMOS Blue Opaco but it exceeded my budget.

Thanks for the reply. I went to molest both squale and Steinhart and both finishing were great. I'm more particular on the watch fitting on my small wrist.

Thanks for the reply. I actually bought and paid for Steinhart ocean vintage gmt LE weeks back on impulse due there was a particular serial number available (and at the point of time I didn't know it was also a vintage rolex homage) Now I'm reconsidering was due to the acrylic crystal w 100m WR. Felt like paid so much but no sapphire crystal like a bit erm.. :s8:

鹹魚青菜各有所愛啦。
先談芯，無論steinhart還是squale，都是採用eta2824基本級機芯，所以在機芯準確度上沒有太大的差別。
二談價，德國品牌方面略勝一籌。。。打底與意大利品牌相比之下，可節省大概一張藍鈔。
再論樣，如果要與老叻水鬼相比較，squale無論在錶殼設計，尺寸，線條上都比steinhart來得接近老叻真品。
squale在三題里以樣子勝出，如果再以品牌比下去的話，曝光率肯定比steinhart小勝一些。

目前你只提出兩個品牌作比較，兩個品牌的外圈同屬鋁質，價格處在800以下。如果要陶瓷質的，就要將davosa ternos潛水錶加入考慮的範圍里了。

Thanks for the reply. I roughly understand what you are saying (Sorry my Chinese is only sub-par). I'm considering between Squale & Steinhart is because I have already purchased from Gnomon (but the watch will only come sg either feb/mar) and should I change my mind, I could only get other piece at same or above the price I paid for.

I'm not really concern about their movement since both using identical ETA movement. I feel it's more of personal psychological issue :s13: acrylic vs sapphire at the price point I paid

In terms of aesthetics, the Squale appeals more to me with its red needle on black dial, although I'm not a fan of the cyclops lens. The inclusion of the sapphire crystal compared to the Steinhart just further swings the favour.

The part about it being a "Rolex-wannabe" is ultimately your own perception. Lots of divers look like Rolexes. I have a Steinhart OVM Maxi and I love it, plus personally I couldn't care less what others think.

Just my 2 cents worth. :)
