If compare a tag and a zenith, which would be a preferably choice for you all?

i have both zenith and tag (heuers) so perhaps i can share my thoughts.

but first you buying for who to appreciate? what we like may not be what you/your friends/your colleagues/your [whoever] likes. its a tricky question, but if the more honest you are with yourself the more likely you will appreciate the watch more. (its an expensive, useless purchase if you think about it - make sure you are able to extract some value for the huge premium you pay as you already have the time with you on your phone.

secondly zenith and tag has been around a long time and have a lot of watches between them. i have both so depends on which models.

generally tag gets a bad name because a lot of their pieces are fashion and advertising led, they are still very respected for their technology in movements. This for example http://www.calibre11.com/the-inside-story-of-tag-heuers-15000-heuer-02-tourbillon/

and there is the historic Heuer line which Tag acquired. some very nice pieces there too if you like classic auto pieces. (scroll up, i posted a couple of pieces i own 2 days back.)

zenith is much older compared to tag and was initially noted for their pilot watches. these days they are known for creating the first first automatic chronograph watch (el primero) in the 70's. but they have a lot of duds too. watch this for more info:

The zenith tri color chrono very nice and I think won't go wrong.

Nice looks and great movement

Even Rolex at one point in time use zenith movement for their Daytona
