Hi all, Is zenith watches fine for entry level? And any particular ones to recommend? For working adult.

the iconic zenith to get is the zenith el primero automatic chronograph.

BUT note that it has NO HACKING SECONDS!

eh... but the manual winding only calibre 1861 omega speedmaster professional machiam also NO HACKING SECONDS!!!

and these are iconic mechanical chronographs some more?!!!

If compare a tag and a zenith, which would be a preferably choice for you all?

if got sense, choose zenith.

if got balls, no sense, no taste, suck in easily by fashion/advertising, is a horologic neanderthal, want disrespect from those who know watch value, got $$$ to waste - tag wins hands down!

of course, tag has another more respectable line: heuer. that's the brand to buy.

The zenith tri color chrono very nice and I think won't go wrong.

Nice looks and great movement

Even Rolex at one point in time use zenith movement for their Daytona

Here's my watch collection story: I was fascinated by watches way back in secondary school, but could only afford $10 Daytona knock-offs from pasar malams.

It was only after I started earning my own keep that made fueling this passion possible. Went through a lot of hits and misses, with the progression from Sinn and Oris, to Omega and Zenith, and also GO and JLC. Went through a period of consolidation and now I'm left with only my grail pieces and an Omega. Interestingly, I've never owned a Rolex.

but bro AyuReady, if i wanna play backhacking, i can do so 24/7 on an uber value-for-money (ie. cheap) watch with non-hacking seconds movement like the seiko 7s26 on an skx007/009 or the orient 46943 on mako I/ray I.

if an affordable movement like seiko 4r36 has winding & hacking but not overpriced luxury watches, no matter how "iconic" - that's a bit too rich to stomach. won't anyone feel short-changed?
