Yes I would. And proceed to dump it in the nearest dustbin, cos last time 好公民 taught me not to leave rubbish lying around. :o

And I'd be doing the owner a favour if he/she came back looking for it. :D

In to my bank vault, they are priceless

Of course pick up.

DW very hot item you know? Can sell online and contribute to my hoot better watches fund. :s13:

All your replies damn funny. I wouldn't mind a DW to change up my outfit a little, I wear too similar stuff everyday.

I think... If replica and know, and admit it, still ok la.

Quite sad if replica and know and don't admit it.

Even more sad if replica and don't know and pay Rolex price. :s22:

I have a friend who was given a Rolex Datejust when his grandfather passed away, it was a watch which his grandfather wore everyday. Unfortunately, I realised the tell-tale signs of a fake (cyclops magnification and wrong dial) and informed him, but he didn't mind, since he wasn't planning on selling it, but he still kept it to remember his grandfather by.

I won't give a rat's arse about people who laugh about homage.

Just hoot a Squale 30 Classic today, glossy ceramic bezel jin swee (and yes, I hoot again, sigh). I guess it helps me decide if I really want the real thing. :D

JIN SWEE!

I think you are ready for the real thing. I do prefer the crown on the Steinharts, but the dial on the Squale looks better.

if can sell for money, why throw money away? If this belongs to nobody, I will sell it and donate the money to charity.

Haha, still thinking about it.

Bigger ticket item, need to think a bit longer before hoot.

But probably not.

This is nowhere near the real sub.
The experience between both is very huge.
Just the sub bezel clicks will make you cum.

Been there before. Lol but cannot afford the keep the sub.

On the topic of homages, I've read somewhere before that the whole stigma stems from the fact that to most people, homages are just cheap copies of the "actual" thing. While it is true that affordability is one of the biggest strengths and selling-points of homages, there are also many other attributes that homages can improve on. An example would be design refinements e.g. less intrusive date window placement, matching date-wheels, ceramic bezels instead of aluminium, titanium cases instead of stainless steel, different finishes etc. So from a design point of view, homages can indeed be better pieces. It's just that a majority of makers doing homages have chosen to prioritise affordability, because it's profitable. (Count the number of homage models Steinhart has as compared to a more original OT500 which itself is not bad at all)

Having said all that... life is short, buy what you like and wear what you enjoy. They're just watches. :)

Haha tried turning sub and gmt bezel and prefer gmt click

But of course for different functions and click rate but the gmt is much more hmmm controlled?

Then I better stay away, I like to play with bezel...

Finding the Squale's bezel way too tight to play...

So far the best and most satisfying I've played with is still Pelagos.

In your opinion, so far, what's the best bezel click?

I like them on bracelet too! Most of my watches are on bracelets.

I think it's because the bracelets are the only ones that allow you to have a fit that you desire with all their microadjustments.

NATO and rubber and leather... All limited by where the holes are, or where you punch them. :s22:
