Was looking at a Daytona C last year, couldn't find one that fits my small wallet, went to buy other watches instead.

ADs take watches from rolex in batches...rolex don let them order wat they want...they can't tell rolex I want to order 10 batman for next month becos I have 10 people on my waiting list...


so when ADs want to replenish stock, they have to take 1 batch which is xx lady datejust, xx men datejust, xx gold models etc and in each batch there's only 1 of each sports model.


if one AD's sales is esp bad, indeed they are not going to replenish stock while they try to clear the normal models.


so may be a longer wait for a particular sports model for 1 AD relative to another which is doing better.

tiagong this one more rare than batman. Only release in thailand. 1299 pieces. I use abit effort, sourced it in thailand shopping mall and gladly paid AD price (had to purchase another seiko 5 as purchase with purchase).

don be so hard on him la...he may not be as experienced as u are...need to give benefit of the doubt...and I think its not unusual to be like that when buying 1st watch...like a lot of uncertainty...but google is always there and a gd place to provide general answers.

Me no choice. Got family so a car is quite essential. Can send kids to school, go parks to play, come home early from work. I live in the east & work in the ulu part of westside.

But every month my heart pain when paying for the car. The money can put to gd use like going for a holiday or a buy a watch..
That's why till now my only satki watch is my entry level Pam..

Hopefully when the kids are bigger, I'll have the courage to sell the car & take public transport. Then I can afford to buy a Rolex Daytona & gladly hold the MRT handrails high high

wah you ask me? didn't expect that.

i am not a movement nazi but to be completely honest at a average consumer pov.
4.7k usd = below 7k sgd for a in house automatic chrono movement, its at a very good value.
but servicing maybe a pain in the a$$.
those into chronos, i think zenith being one of the oldest chrono movement producer (rolex used to use their movement for their daytona), its worth it.

i ever thought of getting a zenith tri color, but the latest panda or smt is pretty nice (except the fact that it really looks like mickey mouse).

if compare speedy tues and zenith, i go with the zenith since i already have a speedy. for you, really have to ask which one you look better and would you want a manual chrono or a auto chrono.

stick with the speedy tuesday, wear alr, not shiok, sell buy zenith. lol.

that's how you play the game. LOL #badadvice
