Don't know about the glidelock system but i agree that seiko's bracelets can be improved. It just doesn't feel "solid" enough compared to other brands, especially when they do such a good job with the details like the dials, markers etc.

That's why. If they can do better bracelet.
Confirm can fight with those Swiss pieces.
Maybe too much R&D on the watch And no time for bracelet.
Bracelet important because we're in direct contact with the bracelet when wearing.

the glidelock system is flawed and easily activated.
if only they can do better.....

bracelet is seiko's weakest link. if they up the bracelet game, i tell you. people would pay for GS than other brands.

wow was given the impression that the glidelock was "superior" in quality, really like the idea of the micro adjustment capabilities

IWC micro adjustment is also hidden. Quite nicely done too.

on initial impression, most will agree that j c biver is "smart" and marketing savvy.

BUT for those who are aware that it was him who grew hublot from a brand which only started in the 80s with quartz movements (ie no substantial horological history), shamelessly ripping off AP RO designs, pathetic QC for the money you pay - they can only conclude that he's a hustler with little honesty nor integrity. and so are brands like DW - dumb watch.

apologies to hublot owners for any hurt feelings, but if anyone likes a u-blow, they're miles better off with an AP.

have to give props to JCB for being a good businessman.
debatable whether he is a hustler with dubious integrity, he is delivering results all throughout his career.
afterall he got started with Blancpain at $22k that swatch bought over at $40M.
