Feeling down due to some people around me. Having lunch alone today. Took the day off as well.

I suggest to give the indoor baseball a go...
panda gardens...

I thinking of going grey to save costs but my paranoid self believes it's worth paying that 'AD premium' for that extra peace of mind haha

I think in previous threads got mention this is grey? Or something about her uncle in AD or something :s11:
Her ad states int warranty. I don't know her, but I got my piece from her and had it repaired at Big Time FOC. She was also willing to help liaise with them. Unless she's changed her source..

But sometimes bro, the more you ask, the more you raise the chance of things changing. :)

iirc Orient warranty should be international.

you can choose to meet up with the Seller to physical examine the entire watch set, including the T&C of the warranty (Local or international). If you're not happy with it, you can walk away

but do make it crystal clear to the seller that you will only buy it if you think its worth paying for it.

I too personally prefer not going grey unless the watch piece is hard to find.

My wife on e other hand purchases her bags thru grey importers that celebrities endorses. I ask her what if they are also being duped, or what if 1 out of 10 bags are replicas and if they are found out they can just claim they were fooled too and just offer refund.

unfortunately that's the risk

Many people do not have the necessary equipment and facilities on site to do appropriate checks. Many of them rely on their experiences, including the grey dealers themselves.
the shop is grey dealer?

Anyone interested in 5167 Steel/ rubber bracelet model can consider this? Double sealed and brand new. No need to queue under the waiting list for this model and can get from carousell now. Got some drawbacks such as the warranty not under your name? Warranty started in April?

Ps. I don't know the seller. Just sharing info to watch lovers if you want to get this piece. If you are interested, should not be too difficult to check if it is authentic or not.

Patek Philippe Aquanaut 5167A-001 for S$25,000 https://carousell.com/p/112334020 on #carousell

On the topic of warranty, anyone knows how much big time charge to clean a watch?

Have a 60th anniversary which is a little foggy inside
Never worn before, so not sure what's wrong leh
Feel like bringing to big time to let them have a look
