Very nice! The 15400ST, did U consider getting the 15202ST?

That's actually the 15450ST. 37MM in diameter marketed as a unisex watch which is why this model has plenty of variation from diamond bezel to full on diamond bezel/case/dial/link set.

i am a new collector. after couple of months..trying to adjusting to automatic watches. there's often a need to wind for time adjustment every few days..or weeks. it's not really enjoyable..since you pay a premium...but a smart watch or a quartz keeps better time accuracy. :s12:

maybe my next buy will be a high accuracy quartz. hmmm. :o just my views.

Don't think you need to adjust every few days if you are wearing it. Few weeks maybe. HAQ will definitely be within 10 sec per year kind of accuracy... adjust every few years?

My GS Quartz is running less than +1 sec in the past 7 months.

That being said, I still enjoy my automatics although they are no where near the accuracy of well made quartz.

I actually tried on the Jumbo for size just now... strangely it overhangs on my wrist.

The jumbo's lugs are flared more outwards die to the way the bracelet is configured. Thats why it actually needs a larger wrist then even maybe the 15400. Tried it before and gave up cause my wrist too small as well :(

Good thing that AP came out with other dial variations of the 15450. Sold my white dial as the lack of contrast made it harder to read for my old eyes.

If you get ETAs you are bound to lose a min or two per week but the beauty in automatic watches is that you get to interact with it. I think what's more tedious is the need to wind the date, so maybe u could opt for a non-dated watch.

:D

Naiseeeeeeee, glorious blue dial.

15450

15400

15202 are all solidly built watches, you can feel it the moment you put it on. It looks and feels luxurious.

Critics often say that AP is a one trick pony watch manufacturer. At least they are good at one thing. Though I agree that we should all stay away from their chronos though, too much service needed.
