Hi all, looking to purchase a Tudor 1926 as my first entry level luxury watch but not sure where to get it from.

1) Are the prices for official retailers VS official boutiques any different or they both follow the RRP strictly with no discounts?
2) Looking to buy my dream watch (omega speedmaster) maybe about 5 years down the road. Are there any waiting lists for the speedmaster? Noticed from the thread that some watches like Rolex sport models and Tudor blackbay 58 is almost impossible to get for first time buyers.

Buy from carousell brand new in box with current date.. Plenty of flippers selling at discount . if lucky can get 40% discount on steel piece . half gold model even more.

Buying on bracelet is always cheaper if you intend to add a rubber strap later on.

Vice versa and it’s not really worth it.

Hello, I am not someone who can afford luxury watches but I am getting a sense of joy just reading about them recently.

I have traditionally been anti-Rolex because I hate how it is associated with people who know nothing about watches. Newly rich people (insurance/property) agents who have no sense of taste but just jump into the bandwagon that show off their richness.

thanks to YouTube, I fell in love with a Rolex watch this weekend, the Rolex Explorer II 226570 with the white dial and orange GMT hand. (does it allow hand-winding btw anyone knows?)

After reading about the 226570 (or the 216570), I was left wanting more, because while I am not a diver, a 10 bar rating for such an expensive watch is just meh.

so after one big round, I went to google Rolex Submariner (which I avoided because of it being associated to rich ah bengs).

I quickly found out the newest Submariner is the

The New Rolex Submariner 126610​

My question would now be, what are legacy "legendary" Rolex Submariners that are collectibles, that the rich enthusiast (not me), will definitely want to have?
