Am trying to decipher why is the naming convention of the SPB239 different from the likes of the SPB143 or the SPB147
You can see the actual model at nearby seiko boutique or shop like city chain. Very hard to tell the different on photo.

147 was last year model. Both is similar design but 147 have sunburst dial and gold accent minute and hour hand. Spec wise is totally the same, don't worry about the numbering.

Some people prefer 239 because it looks more modern, not so much gilt color. For me i still prefer the looks of 147.

I did not expect this because overseas retailers have this readily available
any idea how bad the wait-list is?
Usually overseas retailers have better stock levels across most brands, Singaporeans really like watches I guess.

The waitlist should be ok, definitely attainable.

Loving these Artem straps - in fact, picked up another one. To be honest, they are stiff compared to what a lot of online reviews say, but definitely on the comfy side considering it is a sailcloth strap with a very good build. Unlike the $20-40 type of Sailcloth/leather blend, they definitely feel more premium and will last a much longer time.

PRX Powermatic 80 for blue dial there’s a two months waitlist according to the salesperson at ion orchard outlet.

Cheap relative to the watch community in general I mean.

world doesn’t revolve around me.
my “expensive”, is not really expensive to all the collectors here 😢

it’s all relative
