Is this nicer than the 305??

I prefer the 389's rotating unidirectional titanium bezel with a matte black ceramic inlay with titanium markers as compared to the 305's SS bezel.

Besides that, the 389 sacrifices the display case back, which I don't really mind.

I've friends in personal banking who wear expensive watches on purpose to show their clients that they've already "made it" and can be taken seriously. I guess it does work to certain extend

That's the fact, not just in banking, everywhere else, we get judged by what we wear, our addresses, etc,

Maybe buy first using credit card, and can pay when my salary comes in at end of May.
Target the Tissot visodate, and maybe rotary double-sided (similar to the jaeger lecoultre) reverso watch. Saw it at the Wisma atria watch shop, near the escalator.

Nomos Zurich. In-house movement, slim at 9.5mm. Clean and simple dial.

Have a look at stowa. waiting time 3 months, sufficient for you to think through it, and save up, if $$ is an issue. take a look at their caseback movement, and blue-tempered hands, and you will understand.

nontheless, tissot visodate is a good start. after discount should be around 72x to 74x

i prefer the antea ks, had my second stowa on order.. the caseback movement is sweet. the new A10 movement is gorgeous as well.. However, i am also contemplating on the nomos tangomat currently. ouch.

the blue orange is so bold, and the accompanying video on the website is so gentlemanly.

maybe you are more of the cool guy, fast car adrenaline, so u like black shield.

I'm a fan, but it doesn't seem to get much love around due to the movement bashing for a watch in that price bracket. I don't find it particularly bothering.
