I paid over 30k+ for it for a brand new piece. List is 47k.

ROO novelties can look sporty or really dressy. I've already changed mine to a hornback strap and really am enjoying the look.

Jeremy's right in saying the 44mms have a nice see through caseback for one to admire the movement. Plus you do get AP's signature in house movement.

Since i'm headed to tokyo this x'mas and it does seem that jackroad has the AP skeleton steel, i may just acquire that piece over there and save the money over the RG version.

I quite like the rubberclad RG but favor the 44mms in terms of sheer presence.

I can appreciate their looks but I don't like the fact they have so many models.

Prefer the APRO or the APRO chrono. The APRO is my next big target, that or the nautilus.

Actually all major brands have a lot of models as well. Just look at pam and rolex as well.

It's just a perception. The issue with AP is that they have too many celebrity endorsements which are frankly rubbish.

Hopefully the new CEO will change that.

Depends on what you are looking at.

I would get the forged carbon pieces for sure. Rumors are that AP is planning to discontinue it.

Say, a black sub for Rolex? An AP RO? Omega moonwatch? What about VC, PP etc?

I prefer the steel. The bracelet makes it look more masculine. The leather too dressy for me in the RG.

Just a simple japanese sedan atm...but have been test driving and have narrowed it down to the BMW 520i, A5 or Lexus IS 250 F Sport...

Not considering merc, so you can say we are probably opposites

Pams and AP ROOS have got to be the most repetitive models around.

But I admit I am bias towards Panerai and prefer it over the ROOs.

And you are right about the celebrity endorsement, another factor why I don't prefer the ROOs. But the skeleton you are eyeing has both my thumbs up.

OOT a little. Wouldn't recommend a Porsche personally. My family car is a Panamera and it has been in and out of the workshops a few times. Then again, my previous 3 series had the same problem 10 years ago Mercs is probably a better choice
