i heard they were popular back in the 80s too.
when I started collecting a decade ago it was really very rare at my price point. after the chronoswiss opus (8k then) the next level i had to go was the corum golden bridge or the VC (40k). Could not afford them back then.

nowadays there are too many from the nameless brands which makes really ugly skeletons. that was also one reason I gave up collecting.

Anyone interested in taking over the gmt2c? Upgrading to gshocks!

Finally back home and put the new boy into the watch winder.

The full rose gold for some reason with this dial is more subtle than the other variations with the different dials.

This is quite normal. I heard the more complicated watch can cost up to $5K for just a general servicing.......................

The more expensive your watch, the more is the general servicing but I don't see why would one be taken by the high price of the general servicing if one can afford to buy the watch. ;)

And I thought Rolex watches usually 10 years also no need servicing one ? :s8:

i think the nicest and still affordable skeleton would be the Tissot T-complication squelette

Yup, always. I know there are two schools of thoughts on this, but I am for the watch winder side.

I need to plan for the next watch, was terribly disappointed at not being able to score the AP skeleton & Lange Arkade.
