have u tried them; and how did you like them on your wrist?

I tried the Lange One on my wrist......totally not me at all. My wife was with me but the moment I put it on we both shook our heads.

the La Tradition was an instant favourite. But we went for the nautilus cos I'm such a brand *****.:s22:

Tried all 3. Between the blancpain and glaschette, the blancpain looks better on my wrist perhaps it's bigger and thinner. Plus point is that it's manual wind and has a power reserve indicator. But I got a feeling 不耐看.

On the second try the blancpain really don't put a smile to my face. But the glaschutte still does (did not compare side by side this time. And the fact that blancpain the brand is a bit becoming an ah tiong brand turn me off a bit a little.

I really wanted to try the glaschutte senator panorama date and panorama date moonface but dunno who got stock in sg.

As for Lange, it was love at first sight. But at 29k, it was pretty off my budget so I did not ask about the discount. Too bad lange don't do their watches in SS.

I don't think Blancpain is sufficiently well-known to be tiong. But Lange probably soon will be.....

How is the brand Cross huh? Saw a groupon deal on it, and the watch looks not too bad?

Hi all.

I am looking at preowned Rolex Submariner 14060 U series at $4800.

Since I am a first timer, I will like to ask all HWZ bro n sis out there, is that a good price?

Thank you.

Guys I saw one of the bro here share about JW Horological Gallery.

May I ask if anyone of you bought watches from them before? Is it good?

Reason is, I noticed few very good deal there, but seems they provide their own warranty instead of manufacture warranty. (Grey watch!?)

probably because everytime you see "blancpain" brand you will see its chinese brand name together with it as well..

to general public, even my parents thought its an "Ah tiong" brand...

Could they have mixed it up with Bovet?

edit: from wiki
Bovet Fleurier SA is a Swiss brand of luxury watchmakers chartered May 1, 1822 in London, U.K. by Édouard Bovet. It is most noted for its pocket watches manufactured for the Chinese market in the 19th century.

Chinese people always like to create their own way of calling things.

Example:
Australia last time is 澳洲. Now is 澳大利亚
Seoul last time was 汉城. Now is 首尔
Sydney las time was 悉尼. Now is 雪利

I believe australia is known by different names in either taiwan or china. Same case for sydney.

IIRC the change from 汉城 to 首尔 was initiated by the south korean government.

From wiki
2005年1月19日,時任汉城市市長李明博在新闻发布会上宣布,汉城的中文名称正式更改为“首尔”,昔日的“汉城”名称不再使用。

That I believe is the "black themes". One of my favorite besides the panda. Price wise can't help you with that, in the region of 25-30k?
