Oh damn. Was hoping that Low end Breitlings will be at approximately 4k.

Another for ball, seems they only have bracelets? I prefer rubber as this will be a daily beater.

Better to just buy on bracelet and if you don't like can swap out for rubber or leather...

You can change it out on your own. Just make sure you have the tool (cheap and available easily) and the right size for the rubber strap. Mind you, rubber straps also harden and disintegrate over time. The one on my Mr Roboto lasted 2yrs.

I stuck with bracelet since.

If you compare pp quality vs your rolex Daytona.

You think the different great giving the price different ?

Hard to compare like that. Yes both are sports watches and the Rolex is very sturdy.

The PP is more detailed in the workmanship. I find myself looking at parts I never checked for my other watches.

Edit: your question sets me thinking. But then again items of passion are intangible. To some, a b&b jap car is good enough, but to others it has to be an alfa romeo (yours truly). Worth it or not? How much do you smile when you have the item in your hands? That shall define it.

This is very true.. Over the weekend I had decided to get AP ROO Panda from THG but the SA advise me against it as he told me it will not looks nice on me as it is too big. The SA took it out to let me try and indeed it looks weird on my wrist.

After that he recommend Hublot big bang which he commented it will looks good on me and he selected few models of it for me to try on. Surprisingly the selected models fits me very well and had a hard time deciding which to get. Prior to this I did not consider Hublot before as the pictures of the watches not not stir any interest in me. But the looks of Hublot is so much better as compared to pictures.

Eventually I settled for his recommendation as I am very impressed with his skill to recommend watches based on the overall looks of a person. Tho still disappointed that I am not suitable for AP, but I am still happy with my Hublot purchase.

No offence, but hublot over AP?

Wow.

hublot is their house brand, so definitely they will try to push for it.. plus its not cheap also.

Bro, the 44mm novelties are right up your alley. Perhaps the steel panda may be what you're looking for.

There are rumors that AP is planning to refresh their 42mm ROOs with open casebacks...

If that happens....

I'm not sure.....but I know I want the steel bracelet and the display caseback. And the tapestry dial.

So the skeleton is probably out for me.

As much as I like AP, sadly it does not sit well on my wrist and therefore I decide against it. No point spending that amount of money when it looks weird on me.
