putting into perspective as only retail price was announce at basel world 2013

4200CHF for blackbay last year
4700CHF for black shield this year

considering its full ceramic and all very worth it....and from the looks of it its a modified valjoux 7750

Hamilton not worth 2.5k...

That particular Hamilton uses a Valgranges movement. And its one of the later movement to come out of ETA. If its not worth $2500, then it lagi not worth to pay more tha $3.5k for a Tag chronograph with a Valjoux 7750. :D

later movement may or may not be better. valjoux is reliable and has a proven history, hence some may argue that it is worth a premium.

valjoux 7750 and its variants are also used in IWC and breitling watches.

i don't think is easy because I dunno how to change myself haha! maybe if you know how to change you can change yourself. it is just an additional nato strap, i think new 'marketing' ploy that's all, give you an additional strap like more wu hua.

Fyi, Valgranges are developed along the lines of Valjoux movement. They are as reliable, if not better than a Valjoux movement.:D

Thanks guys, I appreciate all the comments. I quite dig the looks so I am not so concerned if worth or not.

Anyone knows the rough price to get this in Singapore? Trying to see if better to get it here in HK or back in Singapore. I do understand it should be slightly cheaper in HK, but if differential is not big, then might get in Singapore instead.

Thinking of selling my Rolex Yachtmaster Semi Gold Boy Size with receipt and box.

ETA VALGRANGES

Volkswagen 7-speed DSG is developed along the lines of the successful 6-speed DSG, it is as reliable, if not better than a 6-speed DSG...

get my drift? :s13:
