Just changed the strap on my wife's new Franck Muller Long Island watch...

Looks so much brighter than with a black strap!

^ if all fails, post the watch for sale online, highlight the problem and sell it off.

Buy another watch.

Screwed up aftersales can subjectively mean a lifetime of headaches

This is the reason why i sold my tag. Decided nvr to buy anythg under that lvmh umbrella moving fwd.

Looks good, wear it in good health! And post a wrist shot pls :)
Btw, what does the '888' on the back mean?
Auspicious number. And PRC is for People's Republic of China. :)
Nice tissot there. :D
Nice tissot..
Hope it fits under your shirt cuff
Thanks, no idea whether PRC really is supposed to stand for China. Or what the '888' means :D

About whether it fits under shirt cuffs, I had totally not thought about that until dressing up for work today. It totally doesn't fit under my cuffs haha :s13: currently leaving my left cuff unbuttoned while I figure out what to do next. Probably gonna need to buy a dress watch to go to work with :s13:

PRC 888, 888 doesnt represent the individualised serial number.. definitely a watch meant for tiongs...

I believe they are well represented in china, hence the prc888

icic....the incident that happened to you is heng/suay one...by right, the quartz module is separated from the watch dial...

A little insight on Omega watch prices

The Speedmaster Standard | independent watch projects

Conclusion

Comparing the Swiss Minimum Wages, the real price of a Speedmaster has been multiplied more than tenfold over 40 years. base on the Wage only, the modern price of a Speedmaster should be CHF 319… which is pretty much what one can expect to pay for a discounted Chinese Seagull Chronograph.

But if we consider that between 1970 and 1995 the price and hours total increased by 2 or 3, a linear increase should position the Speedmaster between CHF 1’200 and 1’800 today. Anything beyond is an arbitrary choice from the brand… that complies with a price segmentation decided by the group’s board of directors.

First auto / mechanical watch! was fully intending on buying the tissot heritage visodate but after seeing and trying it on, decided that I like the look of chunkier watches. Ended up going for PRC200 auto chrono instead :D :D

How is the price disparity as compared to SG, after VAT is claimed.

i can't remember exactly, but its not too far from the price of the normal gmt master 2 (although no discount is allowed on it)..

last time bought my watch at city chain, now changed batt at vincent watch. The guy saw the titus and charged me S$10, $5 more than what i paid for city chain's batt.

Do u think i can go to city chain to buy another watch then shun bian ask the staff there to open my current watch to blow away that dust or not? Or am i too shameless?! :D:D:D

The uncle boss over at top hour, lucky plaza has the equipment to recondition your watch.

I dunno if cc can do it...

Anyway, pointless to keep on buying cheap watches - to be brutally honest.

As a man, go buy a good one for your future generations.
Male pride ftw.

anyone know what are the key points to validate a Rolex watch?

just dug out a pile of stuffs from my store and found a pair of watch.

its still working after a few shake but i dun think its working 100% perfectly.

look exactly like this just tt on the bottom it wrote "Swiss Made"
instead of "Swiss"

the background color for the date is white instead of this which is abit yellow.
