hey guys wondering of any of you owns a Marina Militare watch here? thinking of purchasing one from GETAT watches

I used to own one, broke after 3mths.
China made like getting a loaner.

Getat quality better still at usd$110 get a timefactor Swiss for gbp$395 better buy. Of course cost a lot more

It is a brand new watch. maybe only 3 wks old. If so, how do i ensure my time is off? Using the computer's time is accurate?

Use a cheap Casio watch with stopwatch function.

Start the stopwatch when the watch second hand is at 12.
Check the next day, how far off in seconds the second hand compared to the stopwatch.
Trust Casio 100% to be accurate. And the error will be on your inaccurate mechanical watch.

I brought my jap fren to buy an aqua terra when he was visiting sg in 2011....... about 3k IIRC.

Thinking of getting an auto watch and wanted to get myself a Tissot Visodate today but I ended up with this instead:

Found the Visodate to be too small to my liking. Hence, the dmg today is only $150 instead of $6xx. Guess I'll use the rest of the money to buy other watches.

yeah pictures hardly justify the real thing, and it will look different when you put it on. That's why you must ALWAYS try a watch before buying.

Save abit more and use that money to get something else better. Marina Militare's a waste of money.

Can agree more with orient, but I like their newer movement.
They hack and wind.
Love my orient star Gmt

The Orient Star is indeed very pretty. Orient's top of the line and very luxurious. Love their Classic collection. As the name says it, the watches look real classic

Some of their collections even use sapphire crystal. The GMT looks unique enough for people to admire but not say it's a chiong (other brand).

Don't waste money get something from timefactors under $800 and it last, better yet worth while to get it serviced.

100-200 homage wear a yr and throw, waste money

Which line u taking about? It is under orient the overseas collection there are some in non sapphire

Hmm the 3k Aqua Terra is most probably the quartz version. The co-axial would cost about 5-6k? My friend told me not to buy Omega first hand cause it is really expensive. A good condition pre-owned will suffice.
