I'm thinking of getting an Omega or Rolex. Haven't really decided which model to get yet because of my small wrist.

Was reading through the pages here, and you guys mentioned about "grey" watches. Can shed more info on that?

Probably getting a pre-owned or "grey" to save some bucks.
Comments?

"grey" watches are actually authentic watches brought in by "grey dealers". e.g. ppl who have overseas lobang to get the watch BNIB (brand new in box) over there. then they return to sell it at a much cheaper price compared to full retail price.

e.g. a Rolex GMT Master II costs $10,980 (RRP), but you can get it from grey dealers at slightly < $9k. something along that line.

i cannot access the site, keep getting redirected LOL

99.1 is a revised version of 99.0 if u realised, they shifted the sub second up to exactly the half way point and enlarged it to make it look more proportionate

Watchbuys only sells to USA, I think the system block out ppl using non USA ip.
Don't buy Sinn in states as watchbuys is the only AD.

fact is a 99.1 maybe over his 5K budget which is why I stated the 99.0. I know its revised no pt when its above the budget.

anyway, its a moo pt since dude only going for watches with many sub dials

Is this a resale price?

Back in Dec last year and Jan this year, in my hunt for a brand new GMT2, I manage to get a good Lobang from local AD but prices still can't beat grey sets.
I contacted several grey sellers and then I managed to get the cheapest price of $8700 from a SWX forumer. Others are $8800 and higher. This friendly old chap constantly brings in Rolex in bulk hence his price is good.
PM me if really keen, I don't want to affect other sellers and post the contact here.

If you are interested in a very new condition 7 month old GMT2 at $8400 or less I might be able to hook you up with someone if he has not sold it.
Else I can give you a SWX contact which I bought my previous GMT2 from.

hard to find a diver that is kinda "Rolex" in looks. If have, its too sporty to be considered a more "dressy" sports watch. Maybe u can look at the tag divers. Their shape of the bezel and case a bit different from Rolex and others that have that Rolex sub feel.

If you're willing to extend your budget, can take a look @ the Halios Tropik.
