Back in Dec last year and Jan this year, in my hunt for a brand new GMT2, I manage to get a good Lobang from local AD but prices still can't beat grey sets.
I contacted several grey sellers and then I managed to get the cheapest price of $8700 from a SWX forumer. Others are $8800 and higher. This friendly old chap constantly brings in Rolex in bulk hence his price is good.
PM me if really keen, I don't want to affect other sellers and post the contact here.
Grey sets got the warranty in sg? Am aiming for exp2

[161211 New Addition]- [UHR]- the 1st AUTO CHRONO of my life!
My UHR watch nice diver watch with affordable price .

Lol no loss, but the process of returning back is a bit troublesome.. still need ship and wait. Its just that now I prefer to try on hand, at least I know whether it suits me or not, if dun suit, just walk out and don buy nia lo. Unlike online is buy den wait 1 week for it to arrive. If don fit LLST, if lucky still can send back refund.

Tissot Seastar 1000 automatic. Online can get below $800. Retail maybe you need to search for the best deal. :)

Yes Halios is a micro brand operating strictly online. I think the Tropik will be a good match for your preferences, 41mm, ceramic bezel, Miyota 9015 and a rather dressy diver.

If the warranty card is stamped (and / or dated) by the overseas AD, RSC will honour the warranty locally.

Someone do correct me if I'm wrong.

Buy in store need to hunt down store that carry it.
Smart ppl call others go down each store to find out if they carry it.
No need to wait a week just mins or at most an hour for bus or mrt.
Store have great try don't like walk out, store don't have disappointed and move on to the next.

Buy online u explain it all click in your chair and wait for it to arrive.
Watch ship to home or have to travel to collect it.
Don't like click on PC and wait for approval to return, travel to ship out watch.
More time involve here, buy in store worst case it traveling from A to BCDE to locate watch. More walking more traveling on bus or mrt.
Some ppl find buying online process easy others like u dislike the wait.
Enjoy your hunt!

Personally prefer buy in store, can try, can choose the piece with no flaws, can bargain for better discount. Only buy online if cannot find elsewhere or hunting for used one.

I gotten some replies from my PM.
For Rolex, I am still puzzled, why Rolex AD cannot issue official receipt with model and serial number info when discount goes further than the agreed amount given by Rolex?

I think it's because the brands control the pricing, so AD in theory not supposed to give better discount, otherwise who will buy from brand boutique stores.
