I believe that, unfortunately, Panerai Singapore does not do verification anymore, from what I hear from sg-roc forum. If you do insist, the high cost is prohibitive.

Maybe JW can do the verification if you so incline to go that way.

Service center confirm can do verification with an amount, dealers won't. Salesman never learn how to dismantle watch one only know how to sell nia so u bring to ION even the senior manager also cannot check for u. Must go richemont.

I have not been into Pams for more than 1 year but I hear from those well-versed in Pams have pointed out that when the 382s were 1st released in 2011, they were definitely around the US$11k region, so yes, the 382 has appreciated about 2x.

IMO, prices may have soften for the 382 due to the 2013 release of the 507, which has the same bronze casing but with slight differences.


Sure. Can't explain the attraction that makes me like Panerai. Different strokes for different folks. You like A, I like B. But I know Henabi and I share the same love for the same football team. Others would disagree though.

gotta agree that different strokes for different folks. applies to watches and everything else. but I suppose those who like military watches will like PAM. it gives me.that military feel.

Seagull sea-master look alike. i think there is caseback too. Retail only SGD$13x. please don't compare to the actual finishing of the omega seamaster, because yi fen qian, yi fen huo. There is quite a high following of this particular watch model over at watchuseek, as it is only available in singapore only. Maybe i will get one to play.

2. 1963(#38mm)_SPECIAL EDITION_SEA-GULL Seagullwatch Singapore
Seagull 1963 re-issues. This one also not bad. I would prefer the acrylic domed casing, as compared to the flat sapphire glass casing offered. Approx $350.

This is just purely for sharing and discussing purposes, for peeps here with a budget limit.

Sure... those are really expensive but will they guarantee an appreciation in the years to come? Maybe, but who, except for the well-heeled, to take the plunge and see? And if there are any out there now at a "reasonable" price?

S$3k for a 2nd hand Pam? I have not seen yet... but S$4k+ for a base Radiomir or a base Luminor, yes, there are gems that appear once in a while. Saw a few on sg-roc!

I didn't get the seagull seamaster look a like as it's too much of a homage of the omega AT, would rather get the AT? But the 1963 is nice, I tried the sapphire crystal version at seagull sg and it looks better in real life than in the pictures, and I prefer it's bigger size over the 38mm version. My one gripe is that I believe the 1963 are not made by seagull Tianjin anymore as you cannot find it on their official webstore?

hey fossil from where one, their watch looks VERY good! Me now trying to search for the price.

Fossil is US brand, never buy from Fossil boutique, retail price only with no discount. Considered fashion watch brand but a few of my colleagues swear by Fossil and are very happy with their design and durability.

In fact I was looking at their limited edition breaker diver...quite nice but 800 plus at the boutique is just too ex for me to bite, they also have one limited edition skeleton that has a transparent glass casing, 900 plus but china made and I can't find any info on the movement so obviously felt it was ex too,.,

this watch can function as a dress watch, dailybeater and even as a casual watch. goes well with SS n Leather strap. I personally love the details on the watch dial and the bezel. it jut oozes class but not over the top.

add-on: its the few rare TH designs whereby the watch dial sports a minimalist design. very similar to Orient star n Grand Seiko

if you cant make.up your mind, put a few simiar designs side by side. like:
Tissot, Hamilton, Ball, Seiko, Citizen, B&M
you should be able to tell the difference in worksmanship right away
