tbh, I have two thoughts... its either I buy now... or I wait a few more years, save up more and buy us a rolex couple watch to celebrate us being together for 10years...

actually I wanted a date just cuz it looks like a dress watch and since I am in business attire everyday, I will wear it everday... but ever since I saw one of my clients sport a black sub with calf skin strap as a daily biz wear... I must say that it was almost "love at first sight"...

thats why now I wanna delay a few months, save up more and do my research properly then hoot :)

the sub goes well with dressy attire too :) you won't go wrong with it.

but the DJ will look weird if worn with casual clothes. the sub is a 24/7 watch.

edit: I think you should buy one now. Rolex prices are ALWAYS increasing. Get one now, and get another one later will net you some savings. While I agree it's romantic to buy a couple watch at the 10th anniversary though.....

next Jan is our 10th wedding anniversary :) gonna get new wedding bands for ourselves :)

according to the sexperts here... iirc generally around 10-15% discount. certain swiss watch brands can go up to 30%, i think Tissot is one of them

if want any more discount, use "paying the full amount in cash" as your bargaining power.

Totally agrees. My wife wore SD on any occasion and I find it suitable. Intended to get one DJ TT yrs ago but when I tried on it wearing my usual shopping attire n it is definetly a no.

N yes rolax always like to increase price n there is no better time than now or pay higher later.

And of course more wrist shot pls. :D

Ya man. But still on look out for preowned la tradition yellow gold and a steel chronoswiss opus...

About 45k, from local AD.

I like how the dial is done - it reflects light at different angles as the dial is not flat. some parts will appear a brighter shade than the rest.

The micro rotor is what I really like - it does not block the view of the beautiful movement.

Just a vain shot of the watch and the car. feel the rolex suits the S300 better than this patek though.

You just have to see which hole is your buckling hole, secure it to the buckling pin (the tall "nipple"), leaving the flap open. Slide your wrist through and pull the 2 flaps together. Once connected, lock it in place with the clip, which is on the same side as the buckling pin.

Done!
