Thanks for the advice.. Did check out the Hamilton intramatic and love it.. But the only thing holding me back is no second hand.. Haha.. :(

i've posted this remark earlier, and ie. the lack of a seconds hand does impede if you prefer a watch which can prove to be accurate up to the second. a larger central seconds hand also provide more drama and a larger visual sweep over the entire dial compared to a small subdial seconds hand. however, a 2 hand hour & minute only dress watch projects the message that you're not a hurried & harried individual who'd be fussed with mere seconds but is fine with the stately pace of a two handed only watch.

No el primero?!

sure, of course, for the hard core wis who values technical/engineering designs. it's covered if one has a 2nd series daytona which uses a tuned down version of it.

the reasons why it's not in the top 5 is because it gets real crowded up there and my choice of the 5 is to represent more mainstream choices that are more more popular with the public. it's definitely in my top 10.

i've also made my feelings know about the zenith's el-primero overlapping sub-dials & colours earlier.

Yeah, me too.. looks nicer than the 1969 chronomaster, IMO. But, I think need a certain age / dressing to pull the look off..

Guess I'm still a tad too young for it (now).. :o

Great customer service at the shop. This is what you get in Taiwan.

tell me abt it :s13: even the service in Seiko AD in medan is much better than most watch shops in Singapore. although they can't speak very good english. They were helpful to help me look for the Seiko models in their shops, but of cus I was very upfront with them that i was helping my friends to look at the pricing of the Seiko Models first. may not buy on the spot.

so far... i haven't seen any WOS I passed by displayed the watch. Even Tissot AD in Marina Square and Suntec also don't have.

So high chance TISSOT is releasing this model in limited numbers and only through Pre-order.

Since its a new model, pricing more or less around there, unless you know the SA very well

The new one never overlap mah..

So, submariner, daytona, day-date, speedmaster, reverso, MUT, el primero.. That's 7, what's your last 3? ;)
