CBS, butter is eaten just like that? I love your NY pics...expands my horizons beyond our little red dot. ;)
Yup! I eat butter by the spoon, haha...

I also spread it on everything, meat, fish, veggies...except bread, ironically, cos I don't eat anything that's made with wheat.

And u said you lost from 40 to 30 inches and maintaining . I always thought the saturated fat to gain in body fat link was false. It's the refined sugars and carbo that fattens.

I agree with this. Have friends who also swear by that.
I then cut my carbo intake for lunch and dinner (totally nil) and just have carbo in the morning. Also no more sweet drinks. Other than the usual lunch walk to and fro office and temple and daily public commute, I dont go to the gym.
My weight dropped from 98 to 85 within 3 months. Now all my shirts and pants are baggy and even the last hole on my belt is considered loose. From 36~38 now I am ~33...?

I actually first read about this Low carb high fat or something through chickenbackside's post on MCF.

Initially it was not easy as we are too used to carbs and sugar, and sometimes i do feel a little giddy, prob due to reduced blood sugar? But now all is fine.

One more thing is I have dinner early due to my schedule. Around 5.15-5.30pm.

I actually did a lot of research before deciding to eat high fat, low carb, moderate protein.

I was doing everything my doc told me to, eat low fat, more whole grains, jog 1/2 hour to 45 mins everyday... But still fat.

I was 120kg when I started. 1 year later, I was 64kg.

Weird thing is, I ate til I was full, never ever felt hungry, never counted counted calories. Did all my blood tests. Told my doc about my high fat diet. He said he didn't want to know, but whatever I was doing, keep doing it, cos he has never seen anyone's blood work improve like mine, even with medication.

Today, I do everything opposite of conventional wisdom: eat one meal a day (cos not hungry the rest of the time), no whole grains, lots of fat (only naturally occurring, saturated, polyunsaturated, monounsaturated, all whack), lift very heavy weights 2-3 times a week for very short duration...

It works for me...

To clarify, complex carbs, in other words carbs from whole foods like oats, potatoes, whole grain bread, brown rice etc, are good and necessary for sustained energy. It's the refined carbs like white bread, rice that is too quickly digested to sugars that fattens. In short eat foods as God created them, not man-processed ones.

That's a whopping 50% reduction! You can start your weight loss diet/ exercise YouTube channel and get free stuff to review! :s13:

Yup NATURALLY occurring fats as the creator made them. I read fats are required for our hormones including Testosterone, what makes us guys tick.

My friend who was into crossfit once told me carbs are good only if they are simple carbs. And they come from your greens. But to consume the same amount of carbs as one small bowl of rice, you will need a pretty large serving of greens.

How to get such strong lume??? My snzh57 and Orient Makos are never this bright, and barely last more than 30mins also... :(

seikos have great lume, but you can't trust the pics you have to see them in real life to compare brightness.
