a lot of folks start with base model, 000, then move on...maybe its that AP logo that screams "i'm a panerai"

personally i think the 111 offers more with the second hand and display back, sandwich dial - a lot to just discover visually and appreciate. the less crowded dial without the logo also emulates the pricier models, and retains the stature of a base model.

Just finished shopping at Big Time. Immediately the first I noticed about the MM300 is the hand applied lume which really draws me to it. Will do an in depth review once I have spent more time with it!

If you ask me, with an ETA movement and the polished case, no point to get BNIB. it's a scratch magnet so if one intends to wear it, look for a 2nd hand deal.
