Not confirm sell lah. Just thinking about it.

I do really like the watch, though

Dude, just tell her the truth.

Why cover up with small white lies and then forget about it and then one day, it comes back up and bites you in the ass.

Man up. If she disapproves or scolds you about the price or whatever, explain to her your reasoning and take it on the chin and move on.

If you look at it objectively, this is a small matter. There will be bigger matters in the future that requires the trust between the two of you.

Cheerio!

Question: My gf approves of my OS Retrograde's looks but of its price, barely.. She doesn't even know about my OS Vintage Skeleton which I paid 3x as much for yet. So I hardly get a chance to wear it now that my exams are over (we work together). Don't really like the feeling of having to hide it also.

Should I just keep it or just try to sell then forget about it?

What would you do?

:(

I see alot of comments getting very serious on this topic.

For me, the 1st and foremost question is on what basis does one's gf/wife approves/disapproves of one's purchase. If budget/finances are a shared concern and the item indeed resulted/will result in a deficit somewhere else, then it should certainly be discussed together in the 1st place even before purchase.

Otherwise it is just a simple 先斩后奏 of our pleasures that most of us probably have been guilty of before. Wife secretly buying a bag, jewellery; husband buying hifi stuff, watch, doing car mods.

As I mentioned, the most important thing is within means (and don't do too often la..). If it's within means and there are no other pressing priorities, cannot understand why this should be an issue. my 2 cents..

Haha yes you can. When you have already the cash with you. I see no reason why paying thru instalments isn't a smart choice. Haha credit yes. Haha earn points.

Well she does have a reason for it - for the coming japan trip.
She doesnt have a mid size bag which can hold a camera. The never full we have is XL and its quite cumbersome to lug around.

Okok in short she buy, i just accept LOL
