Haven't tried engraving on the pre-v buckle yet. :)

And yes, the GPF buckle is sewed into the strap, so the only way to change the buckle is to cut up the strap! I ordered this GPF buckle from Elias, in Greece, and he had a friend engrave it for me before shipping it to Malio in Indonesia to have it sewed onto my Malio strap.

Elias is a popular Greek buckle guy that supplies brass buckles to quite a few strapmakers, and Maliostrap is one of them.

Yeah, and the constant reminders by the wifey...

wow! so much! must have spend alot! sew abit trouble for me. the normal pre v style buckle is easy, screw in and out.
but the engraving on your buckle is very very nice!

will check out the brass buckles!

never leh...am I suppose to see his pic before?LOL.

don't see. later you vomit :D

yatto san sometimes I hate you for posting pics especially when it's pretty affordable. :s13::s13: btw what's the cheapest outside? Should be less than 200 I think.

if you search hard enough, its probably around $180

Will like to seek advise on recommendation for a decent dress watch. Maybe $200-$300? Wearing during special event when i need to dress up.

Didn't really spent too much, about S$200 for both strap and buckle. It is something unique for me and the only setback is the waiting time, about 6-8 weeks, but it is worth it. :)

black/RG $165 ER24001B
white/YG $165 ER24003W
black/steel $165 ER24004B

black with rose gold

White with steel

white with rose gold

quite a number of us are pretty sold on this piece. the dome crystal is probably the most attractive part of the watch, and gives it a vintage look. clean, neat and simple. Very nice dress watch.

the new bambinos come with roman numerals. Not bad looking too.

as of all watches, do try them on physically before pulling the trigger. Pictures can be VERY deceptive. Make sure it is what you REALLY like.

you can go to bencoolen WINS trading or probably any watch shop that sells Orient watches to try them on. The shops sell for around $200.

All the best!
